The sandman is in love. He is certain his true love would feel the same way about him if she would only stay awake. Unfortunately the sleep magic he works with clings to him, making all sleepy around him. The sandman thinks he will never be with the woman he loves—until he meets an insufferable insomnia fairy. Only if he can enlist her help will he be able to make his dreams come true.

This quirky romantic comedy is a short story set in the same urban fairy tale world as Wrath of the Tooth Fairy and Dear Jezzy. This is the first installment in the Fractured Fairy Tale Series, and the stories can be read in any order.
